separate_diagonal_off_diagonal(expr)

The separate_diagonal_off_diagonal module provides functionality for separating diagonal and off-diagonal terms within a given symbolic expression.

Parameters

Returns

  • Tuple (Expression, Expression):
    • Off-diagonal part: Contains terms that induce transitions.
    • Diagonal part: Contains terms that conserve boson number.
